We have a new smartphone app - search for "Team App" in the store - its free, then register and search for Valentine FC. Up to the minute news, information, coming events, weekly fixtures, ground closures etc - all delivered straight to your mobile phone.
The Team Duty Roster for Ground Setup on Saturday mornings is now available. Please go to the main menu, on the left, and scroll down to Duty Team for details. A roster has been established for all U6 to U12 teams. In addition, there is a list of duties to be completed to ensure the grounds are set up ready for games to commence. Finally, there is a list of duties for all home teams to rearrange field setups during the day and pack up the grounds at the end of each day.

Development Academy Update:
VEFC Development Academy is supporting Cerebral Palsy by asking you to join a Touch Football team or create a team for the annual Knockout Charity Day - Sunday 12th October 2014...
- Round Robin for all teams (4 games)
- Each game will be 25 minutes duration, changeKnockout system; the competition will be six-aside
- All players must wear approved touch shoes
- All players welcome over the age of 12
- Cost $250 per team or $25 per person if you have 10 players

Positions Available for the Development Academy
The Development Academy has been progressing well over the last 6 weeks and we now need volunteers to help improve the program. Please look at the positions available and nominate yourself to one of the task listed below. Many hands make light work.
Secretary – Happy to work with me and improve our paperwork & management on the night - This will free me up on the night to help coach.
Head Register - Collect the data, update data, Collate Data relevant to the program.
Register 1 - the Session 1 players – Highlighting the names as they arrive (from 3:40pm to 4:20pm).
Register 2 - the Session 2 players – Highlighting the names as they arrive (from 5:10pm to 5:40pm).
Register 3 - the Session 3 players – Highlighting the names as they arrive (from 6:30pm to 7:20pm).
Duty Officer – Walk around and interact with parents and pass on concerns/praise points from parents to me.
Medical Officer - Due to players with asthma and Anaphylaxis concerns we need someone who can keep monitor and act accordingly to different situations. First Aid Certificate is needed for this position.
Assistant Coach – Due to large numbers in the 8s, we need someone to help out with the program.

Womens Football Raffle Results
The winners were drawn on the weekend for the Womens Fund Raising Raffle, results are as follows:

V.F.C. MAJOR RAFFLE 2014
The DATE for the Raffle to be drawn is Saturday 26th July, 2014.
The Purpose of the raffle is to purchase two containers for gear storage to replace the exsiting old storage container.
Please have all tickets returned to the club by Thursday 24th July 2014

Under 12s information night for 2015
VEFC is holding a parent and coaches meeting on Friday the 1/8/2014 for all current 11 year olds who can play under 12s next year (2015).... This will be an information night to explain what VEFC will be doing to ensure your child a clear coherent pathway for 2015.... We are undertaking a internal trial period after the season for only VEFC juniors to determine our under 12s squad for 2015... Please leave this date free as on the 27/7/2014 our VEFC seniors play Maitland to almost determine who gets promoted to the new NPL competition for 2015..
Existing coaches and managers of 2014 will meet on the 18/7/2014 to discuss the new process that VEFC will implant as our career pathway program of the junior grassroots program to our competitive program up to our first graders...

Valentine Eleebana Football Club is delighted to announce Stephen Gillard, Principal Physiotherapist at Broadmeadow Physiotherapy is continuing as a club sponsor for season 2012.
The clinic is uniquely located in the Broadmeadow Medical Centre which allows special opportunities including direct referral to an on site Sports Medicine Doctor. According to Stephen: "We have professional associations allowing us prompt appointments with orthopedic surgeons for serious injuries, and ready access to bulk billing x-rays. Additionally we are (or have been) soccer players ourselves and share a passion for the sport at the ‘grass roots’ level."
