Valentine Football Club has had a wonderful 2023 on the field. This year we had 44 MiniRoo and 19 Community teams take part. Of the 19 Community teams, 9 of these played finals football, which is an outstanding achievement.

Season 2024 is going to be even better. Our new facilities will be open, and we will have one of, if not the best facilities in the area for players and spectators to enjoy. We can't wait to share these with our current and new players in 2024.

Registrations for the 2024 season will open in late January. Once registrations open there will be links on this site to direct you to the registration pages. There will be a team formation night in February, when parents of the younger teams meet at the ground and form into teams. We do what we can to put the children with friends or people from the same school. However, it may pay to ask around your child's friends to see if they will be looking to play for a team next year and come to the team formation night with a team ready.

 

With U15 and above, as well as All Age and O35, you should make sure you have a space in a team before registering. If you do not know the manager or coach, contact the Registrar who will put you in touch with the appropriate person.

Training will commence in March. Each team will be allocated a training time and location which the team, or  parents of the team, will discuss to decide what day and time they prefer.

 

Fees are still being finalised for 2024 and we will update this page when the prices are available. The fees will include a shirt for your child, but you will need to purchase shorts and socks. We will have a shorts and socks evening so you can come and try on the gear and purchase it. Games will take place on Friday nights for O35s, Saturday mornings for Miniroos, Saturdays for senior teams and Sunday mornings for U12 and up girls teams.  These will be on most weeks between end of April to beginning of August.
