IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING

 

You will need to have the following items ready to be able to complete the registration process:
 

  • Photo of player, passport style for all players 12 and older. Even returning players will need to have this. Please make sure it is head and shoulders, not full length or Macquarie Football may reject the registration.

  • Active Kids Voucher number if you are utilising one.

  • Credit/Debit card. No offline payments (cash) are being accepted [In the case of extreme financial hardship, please contact valentinefctreasurer@gmail.com to discuss options] 

  • Knowledge of shirt size required. Please note that the actual sizes are on the small side, so you are highly recommended to request a size larger than you think.

Click on 'Find a place to play', select your age group, then search for 'Valentine'.

Follow the prompts to complete your registration.

We can help you on the team formation night. Please bring all details required eg, credit card, photo ID and active kids vouchers and we can assist you in registering.

2024 COMMUNITY & INTERDISTRICT REGISTRATION FEES

Notes:

  • 2024 fees are identical to 2023, despite significant increase in Football Association and Council fees, largely driven by the upgraded facilities at Croudace Bay Sports Complex.

  • The Club Fee column shows the amount retained by with Valentine FC. This fee covers referee costs all season, playing shirt to keep, training and game day equipment, ground usage (utilities), ground maintenance (ground repairs, line marking, mowing, fertilising, etc.), end of season presentation day and volunteer reimbursements (coaching costs, etc.).

 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I HAVE REGISTERED?

Players registered in age groups - U5yrs to U13yrs will need to attend our 'Team Formation' evening if they have not already been accepted into a team. This is where players will be placed in teams and coaches and managers are decided. All community teams must have a coach and manager provided within the team. Parents will need to accompany players to finalise details including coaches, managers and training times.

 

TEAM FORMATION EVENING

Date: Tuesday 13th February

Location: Our new clubhouse at Croudace Bay Sports Complex

 

Times:

U6's - 5.30pm

U7's - 6pm

U8's - 6.15pm

U9s - 6.30pm

U10/11/12/13's - 6.45pm

 

INFORMATION ABOUT TEAM FORMATION EVENING

All players and a parent/guardian needing to be placed in a team will need to attend. If you are unable to attend please email valentinefcregistrar@gmail.com BEFORE the date so we can try and find you a team.

 

ON THE NIGHT: Teams will be formed. Teams will then decide between themselves preferable training times (several options preferably) and a coach and manager. The club will endeavour to accommodate preferred training timeslot but with so many teams, cannot guarantee it.

 

CLOTHING: Shirts are provided for every player. Shorts and socks will need to be purchased separately, over and above the registration fees. These will be available to purchase on the night (Eftpos only). Shorts will be $25 and socks will be $15.

 

This is the only night shorts and socks will be available prior to season commencing. After this time you will need to purchase from the canteen once the season commences.

Coaches & Managers Information Night: Tuesday 16 April

Season Commences: Weekend of 26/27/28 April

Registrations for teams age 12 and up have to be made to the Macquarie association by the first days of March. We have to have at least nine players registered for each team by this date, so do not delay your registration.
